Site Director
Description

The Site Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Out of School Time program. This includes ensuring the children have a safe and happy environment in which to engage in their virtual school program. The Site Director, along with the General Manager, will be responsible for interviewing, hiring and terminating Team Members. The Site Director will report directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in developing a curriculum and program.
  • Knowledge of federal and state daycare laws and requirements.
  • Managing Team Members, which includes interviewing, hiring, terminating and ensuring background and fingerprint checks are completed for each Team Member.
  • Ensuring the facility is maintained and well-stocked.
  • Meeting with parents.
Qualifications
  • At least 21 years old (Required)
  • Credentials which include one of the following (Required):
    • CDA certificate; or
    • CCP credential; or
    • Montessori teacher; or
    • a NAC; or
    • an associate of arts or applied science degree in child development or early childhood education; or
    • a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field with at least one year of experience in an early childhood growth and development setting or school-age child care growth and development setting
  • At least 2 years of experience in an early childhood growth and development setting or school-age child care growth and development setting (Required)
  • CPR & First Aid Certified
  • Classroom Experience
  • Business management experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Excellent communication skills
